About DJ Jayson

Jayson was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida.  At the age of eight, Jayson started writing songs and learning to play piano and guitar.  He began a career in retail at the age of 16. By the age of 24, he had the privilege of working for several national specialty retailers. By the age of 25, he became a Jr. Executive, as a District Manager and continued his retail career for many years following.  Although he had a successful career in retail of more than 27 years, he always had a love for music and knew that one day, this passion, would drive him in a different direction.

Through the years, Jayson dabbled with different DJ controllers, software and genres of music, allowing him to perfect his technique and develop his own style.  In 2018, Jayson decided to exit the world of retail and pursue a different path. He transitioned to playing music for others enjoyment and entertainment, as a DJ. 

Jayson has had the privilege to DJ throughout the entire state of Florida, as well as neighboring states in the Southeast. He has been nominated and has won  awards, naming him "BEST CLUB DJ" in the Tampa Bay Area. He has had the privilege of being featured as the first US based DJ to DJ on MP5 Mix Radio, a radio station based in the UK. He has been a featured DJ at many different venues, including Busch Gardens and The Florida Aquarium.  He has participated as a DJ for Tampa Pride, St. Pete Pride, Come Out St. Pete and Gulfport Pride. Jayson has even had the honor of working with international recording artist, Pepper MaShay. In addition, Jayson has produced remixes of songs by different artists and in the Fall of 2023, co-produced his first live performance, featuring singer and songwriter, Jennifer Real. 

Today, Jayson is a resident DJ at Bradley's on 7th, Tampa's hottest gay nightclub. He continues to produce remixes and has many additional projects on the horizon.
